Piebald
This mutation was first produced & proven simple recessive in 1997. We acquired our first Piebald ball pythons into our collection in 2002. They were captive bred and hatched by Peter Kahl.
This is probably the most striking ball python mutation out there. These animals can have anywhere from 10% to 90% white markings on their bodies. They also have double black dorsal stripes and the pigmented areas are usually outlined in orange. When people see all of the different ball pythons in our collection they are impressed, but once they see a Piebald there is no comparison to the rest. Most can’t even believe that they are looking at a real snake. |
